Last month my hard drive shit the bed and, because I haven't been diligent enough with back-ups, I lost about 3 months worth of music. Most of what was going to be the next album. All of that is now lost forever. Oh well.

While the computer was down for about 2 weeks I decided to get back to beat basics. No computer needed. Only a turntable & mixer, some old records, and MPC, a couple old drum packs as well as some drums from vinyl, and a cassette tape recorder to dump it all into.

In order to get it out to you all I did record all these into Ableton Live once my computer was back from the dead. I added very minimal mastering. Mostly just to make sure everything is at about the same level.

Raw, dusty, crackly, boomy, snappy and dirty.
